NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Federal prosecutors are seeking leniency for a former police lieutenant who will be sentenced Wednesday for his role in a plot to cover up deadly police shootings on a New Orleans bridge after Hurricane Katrina.
Michael Lohman faces a maximum of five years in prison when a judge sentences him for pleading guilty last year to conspiring to obstruct justice. …
