NSW: NSW National leader supports apology to Aborigines

SYDNEY, Jan 18 AAP - Newly-elected New South Wales National Party leader George Souris
today adopted the risky strategy of supporting calls for an apology to Aborigines.

However, Mr Souris stopped short of calling on Prime Minister John Howard to change his
current position of refusing to apologise to indigenous people for any unjust past government
policies.
